As part of IEEE ISORC 2026, which will be held May 27-29, 2026, in Hamilton, Canada, we invite submissions to the Poster Track to present results in an interactive way, for researchers working in areas related to the real-time domain, with an emphasis on object-, component- and service-oriented systems and solutions.
Important Dates
- Submission deadline: April 20, 2026, 11:59 p.m. anywhere on earth
- Acceptance notification: April 24, 2026
- Conference date: May 27-29, 2026

Objectives
The Poster Track at ISORC 2026 provides a dynamic forum for presenting and discussing work in progress, novel ideas, and practical experiences in real-time and distributed computing. The goals of this track are to:
- Showcase emerging research that is at an early stage but demonstrates clear potential and relevance to the ISORC community.
- Encourage technical exchange and feedback through direct interaction between authors and conference participants.
- Broaden participation by offering students, practitioners, and early-career researchers an accessible opportunity to contribute to the conference.
- Promote innovative and exploratory ideas, including unconventional or interdisciplinary approaches that benefit from community discussion.
- Disseminate practical experiences and prototypes, such as tools, platforms, datasets, and lessons learned from real-world systems.
- Strengthen community engagement by fostering informal, in-depth technical conversations around visual research presentations.
- Bridge theory and practice by highlighting applied research that connects foundational techniques with operational real-time and distributed systems.
- Support researcher development by providing a supportive environment for presentation experience, mentoring, and networking.
The Poster Track complements the main research program by creating space for dialogue, collaboration, and the early visibility of promising ideas.
Scope and Topics
We welcome submissions related to all topics within the scope of ISORC, including but not limited to:
- Hardware & Software Architectures for Real-Time Distributed Computing
- Distributed Real-Time Computing and Communication Infrastructures
- Dependability, Fault tolerance, and Resilience of Distributed and Real-Time Computing
