Camera-Ready Instructions
Submitting your camera-ready version is a 3-step process.
- Prepare your camera-ready manuscript to take into account reviewer’s comments;
- Submit your manuscript to IEEE PDF eXpress(R);
- Transfer copyright to IEEE using the personal invitation to IEEE eCF received on your author address.
The deadline for submitting camera ready papers is April 24th, 2026 (AoE)
If you encouter any issue when preparing your camera ready paper, please send an email to isorc@mcmaster,ca, we’ll do our best to help you. Authors might also consider looking at the PDF eXpress support center, and/or contacting technical support from IEEE by email: PDFSupport@ieee.org
1. Preparing your Camera-Ready version
- Paper must be written in English using the available LaTeX or Microsoft Word templates. (Formatting may not be altered)
- The IEEE conference paper templates can be found here: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.
- Prepare the # of pages are required per paper in standard IEEE format.
- up to two (2) additional pages can be purchased on the registration portal.
- Address all reviewers’ comments and revise your paper accordingly before submitting the final camera-ready version. Please make sure that all Figures and Tables are of high quality and their content is easily readable.
- Please make sure also that your paper contains no headers, no footers, and no page numbers. This information will be added by the conference publication team.
- Please use the following convention for naming your PDF file:
PAPER-ID_FIRST_AUTHOR-LASTNAME.pdf- For example:
42_MOSSER.pdf
Important: IEEE policy requires that all accepted papers must be checked for plagiarism. For ISORC, this will be accomplished through the IEEE CrossCheck Portal.
Copyright information
The appropriate copyright clearance code notice is to appear at the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding. The copyright notice should appear about 1 cm below the left column, and should be aligned to the left with the same left margin as the column.
The copyright notice to be added depends on the circumstances as follows:
- For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:
U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
- For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:

- For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is
979-8-3195-4876-4/26/$31.00 ©2026 European Union
- For all other papers the copyright notice is:

2. Submission to PDF eXpress (R)
- Login to IEEE PDF eXpress(R): https://ieee-pdf-express.org/account/login
- ISORC 2026 Conference ID is
70437X - If you don’t have an account on the platform, you’ll have to create one: https://ieee-pdf-express.org/account/signup.
- ISORC 2026 Conference ID is
- Go to your Dashboard, and select Create a new Title.
- Enter title information exactly as they are in the paper.
- When the created PDF passes the checks, don’t forget to approve it (icon on the right)
3. Copyright Transfer Form
All authors of accepted papers must transfer copyright to IEEE by utilizing the electronic IEEE Copyright Form (eCF) (see IEEE Copyright Policy).
To include your accepted paper in both the conference proceedings volume and the IEEE Xplore digital library, one of the authors must fill and sign the IEEE copyright transfer form and return it to IEEE.
